Meade County Browns

This page is dedicated to the Meade County Browns.  I don't know any kinship to the Stiths at this time.  However there may be a connection.  There was a Brown family living in the old Stith house when it burned.  One of the boys was killed in that fire.

Melissa Anderson Gilpen Brown b. Jul 16, 1859 in Casey Co. d. Jun 29, 1932 in Breckinridge Co grave at Rosetta Cem m. Elisha Brown Sep 17, 1884 in Breckinridge Co. He was b. Feb 3, 1842 in Meade Co. d. Nov 12, 1899.  Their children included: Roscoe Conklin Brown, Lucinda Ellen (Bessie) Brown.

Lucinda Ellen (Bessie) Brown b. 1893 in Breckinridge Co d. Oct 1918 in Arizona grave in Phoeniz AZ. never married
