Walter C. Scott
Walter C. Scott, 87, of Guston, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996, at
North Hardin Nursing and Convalescent Center in Radcliff. He was a member of Big Spring
United Methodist Church and was a Conservation agent in many counties and a Civilian
Conservation Corps supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen
Delean Brown Scott, and three sisters, Rena Lou Parks, Jessie Williams and Mary Foote.
Survivors include a son, Jess B. Scott of Los Angeles Air Force Base in California,
two daughters, Ann Doman of Guston and Martha Clift of Radcliff; three brothers, Jack J.
Scott of Elizabethtown, William F. Scott of McLean, Va. and James F. Scott of Madison,
Ind.; and six grandchildren. The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at Big Spring United
Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m.
Friday at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg.
