Wallpapering Doesn’t Look Difficult…
By Eleanor S. Martin
One year I thought I would get an early start on spring-cleaning and would paper the bathroom myself, pinching a few pennies.
It was a near disaster. Armed only with a broom, a clothes brush and a pair of scissors, needless to say, I wore out more paper than I hung.
Upon finishing the job, I stepped back to admire my work. I did it! Then I noticed that I had hung one panel in the wrong place, with pond lilies growing out of a chimney. How clumsy can you get? Shall I strip it now or wait for another time? I learned my lesson. From now on I’ll leave the wallpaper hanging to the professionals.
I am a pretty good window washer though…
