o There was a Thos. Smith at Howells  this is easily confused with the Thos. Stith at Big Spring
o Thos. Stith at Big Spring was Thomas Jefferson Stith grandfather of the present Thomas J. Stith of Stith Valley, Ky.

o Lena Drury of Bewleyville married William Allen Stith of Big Spring.  Wm. Allen was son of Thos. J. Stith

o Thomas P. Hardaway - (probably) son of William Henry Hardaway and Harriet E. Jones
      b Feb 10, 1832 d Feb 8, 1920
      Wm. Henry Hardaway had a brother Thomas P. Hardaway who was father of James L. Hardaway
      James L. Hardaway married Margaret Cain and his daughter was Adelissa Louisa Hardaway m Charles L. Scott
