Mary Lucille Shacklette Seymour
Mary Lucille Shacklette Seymour, 95, of Brandenburg, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Medco Center of Brandenburg. Mrs. Seymour was a charter member of the Meade County Homemakers and a member of the DAR, the Meade County Art Club and the Meade County Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Stanley Seymour; a son, Warner Price "Bud" Seymour; and a grandson, Michael Seymour. Survivors include three children, William Allen Seymour of Evansville, Ind., Patsy Jean Seymour Dungan of Seattle, Wash., and Mary Richard Seymour Roberts of Elizabethtown; a sister, Jenny Rose Snawder of Louisville; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. The funeral was Monday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty with burial in the church cemetery. Hager Funeral Home of Brandenburg was in charge of arrangements.
